He said that the CCHD was merely a “funding mechanism for radical Left-wing political activism in the United States, rather than for traditional types of charities.” He called the CCHD the “Catholic Campaign for Helping Democrats.” Helping Democrats is pretty much the same thing as helping Marxists; they both share the same ultimate goal.”
