A capital of an empire that lasted a thousand years. It has many waters, seven hills, and world trade. It is fallen, is fallen, and can be found no more at all. It is a mystery and likely to remain so. It is Constantinople. No other city fits like this great city. You can’t go back to Constantinople. It can be found no more at all.

A suggestion that John Chrysostom wrote the Apocalypse 30 September 395. Made by Nikolai Alexandrovich Morozov, an astronomer, according to R. H. Charles in his book, “Studies in the Apocalypse: Being Lectures Delivered before the University of London”. A book worth reading.

A Public Speaking –
A lot of preparation. A lot of opportunities to speak. The only one that I wasn’t asked to do was my father’s eulogy.
A Big Number –
A place to start. There is only one Christian empire that lasted a thousand years. It was attacked in the year 666. It was ended by the 10th dynasty of Islam. It was started by the Roman Empire that had seven dynasties. This is a good start. Does it fit with the other parts? We shall see. The “ten horns” are a clue in Daniel. Look for the number of years.

A Third John –
A patriarch was in Ephesus replacing seven corrupt bishops. At the time five of the seven dynasties of the Roman Empire had already fallen and Jerome was finishing the Vulgate. He may have needed a reliable copy of the Apocalypse to translate. John Chrysostom was someone you could trust.

A Joy To My Life –
A pruning of plants. Late spring and early summer. Rapid growth requires much trimming. It must not interfere with what man has created. Didn’t see that coming.
A Fulfillment Of Prophecy –
A number for verification. Interpretation of numbers is not necessary. 1000 is 1000. 666 is 666. Ten is ten. Seven is seven. Use these numbers to connect prophecy with history. Only history with numbers can confirm the fulfillment of prophecy. Can you trust anyone’s interpretation? No, but you can trust the numbers. And colors.
