The Julian starting in 45 BC would be 622, the year of the Hijrah. Gibbon has Islam attacking Constantinople 46 years after it. Put 46 in an Islamic calendar converter and you get 666.

Do all the different bibles agree on anything? Numbers and colors. They don’t need to be interpreted. Unlike many other words that seem to demand it.

The Byzantine Empire, that lasted a thousand years, started with the Roman Empire and ended with the Ottoman Empire or the tenth dynasty of Islam. Three numbers that fit. Let’s look at 666.
