A Revelation
that the time is near. The time was near for the first coming 2000 years ago. The time is now near for the second. All the signs are there. Are you ready? You may now have time to reflect. Use it. There is not much future left.

A Good Question
that needs an answer. Many believe it doesn’t belong in the Bible. They don’t think it was written by John the Apostle. John Chrysostom was one of them but he was in Ephesus at the beginning of the fifth century and he had a chance to maybe look at the originals. Before this we do not know what the Apocalypse looked like. At this time Jerome was finishing the Vulgate which would become the official Bible of the Church.

A Revelation
you can take literally. It is the death of the soul. Its total destruction in the lake of fire. Eternal life is with the Lord. No more suffering. No more death. No more sorrow. No more crying. No more pain.
A Test
to see if you are listening. The message is clear. There will be consequences. We now know how important testing is. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them. Your fruits will be tested. Be sure to test theirs. Lest they infect you.
A Message
to all seven churches. Listen if you have an ear. Every man will be judged according to their works. This does not require interpretation and it makes sense. Even a child understands that they might be punished for what they do. Parents will teach them that. Right?

A Test Of Faith
that is reliable. Suffering is a significant part of testing according to Paul. He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death. That is according to John. Be not afraid of them that kill the body Fear that which kills the soul. Only fear the Lord –
A Message
to all seven churches. No interpretation required here but that doesn’t stop some. All they need is a wolf in sheep’s clothing to tell them that the message wasn’t meant for them. We were warned about wolves but that does require some interpretation. So does testing their fruit. Test? Is that word in your bible? It should be.

A Different
translation may be as important as a different interpretation. Are you going to watch for signs? Are you going to wake up and change your ways? Can you trust your interpretation? Can you trust the bible translation you are using? Test it all. You are being tested. Is that word in your bible?
A Problem
with trust. It has been suggested that there was no martyr named Antipas. John was simply referring to the days of Herod Antipas. A time period. All the translators got it wrong. A plausible theory. So who or what can you trust? Numbers and colors. Somehow they all got that right.
