a balance of work at home?

A Retired Person –

A long day. WordPress posting, a bike ride, and small projects in the morning. Neighborhood watching in a rocking chair with a beer on the patio if it is not too hot, cold, or wet. Napping when I can. The day is too long.

a history and commentary

A Record of What Wasn’t –

A problem with Eusebius and Victorinus.  They don’t seem to be aware of the seven churches of the Apocalypse.  Eusebius mentions six of the seven churches but never associates them with the Apocalypse.  Victorinus mentions the seven churches that Paul wrote to but not the seven churches of the Apocalypse.  Was there a version of the Apocalypse that did not have the seven churches?

a forced sacrifice

A Temporal Denial –

A fasting or abstaining. The body can let you know when you are doing something to excess. The doctor too often will just treat the symptoms instead of looking for the cause. In the past I had to deal with an eye problem and gout. It was my guess that caffeine was causing the eye issue. Dr. Google, she was a nurse, told me what to do about the gout. Beer, fruit juices, and sweets. After giving it all up, I can now drink coffee and beer in moderation. Moderation in all things including moderation.

a necessary question

A Reason for the Apocalypse –

A revelation of what must shortly come to pass.  Why?  To prepare the way for the first coming.  The Lamb of God.  Not the second coming.  Jesus.  Lamb is mentioned 27 times.  Jesus is mentioned only 12 times.  John the Baptist prepared the way for the Lamb of God.  He didn’t know it was Jesus.

a leader or a follower?

A Good Question –

A reluctant leader. Primarily a follower. I have followed all who have commented on the Apocalypse. Most of what I present has already been presented by others. My only contribution is interpretation with the use of numbers and colors to connect history to prophecy.
