A canon that only considers apostles. So why did they think John wasn’t the apostle? The apostle wouldn’t use his name five times. He wouldn’t say lamb more times then Jesus. The Baptist would since he didn’t know Jesus was the Lamb. The apostle knew who “bare record” and Jesus.

A new bible translated by Jerome precedes Augustine’s commentary on the Apocalypse in The City of God. Prior to the Vulgate many believed the Apocalypse did not belong in the bible. This was settled once and for all by Jerome who had the authority to define the bible.

You may not have that much time. It’s later than you think. You may need help understanding it. Ask for it.

A Roman Empire With Seven Dynasties
A beast that was, and is not, and yet to come. The seven heads are connected to the ten horns or the seven mountains. Constantine started the fifth dynasty of the Roman Empire and relocated its capital to Constantinople which started the Byzantine Empire, a thousand year empire.
A tenth dynasty that ended the thousand year reign. The ten horns shall hate the whore, Constantinople fell to the Ottoman Empire, the tenth dynasty of Islam. So who is counting? Islam. That makes Constantinople the mystery Babylon the Great, the only city with all the necessary characteristics.
A Home for Doubt
A necessary explanation for what we experience. We have to make sense of it. To ignore it is to deny reality. To deny objectivity. Call it speculation, conjecture, or whatever but please accept the fact that there must be a reason, a purpose, a meaning, etc.

A calculation not a count. Two calendars and two solutions. 666 of the Julian Calendar is the beginning of the Islamic Calendar. 666 of the Gregorian Calendar is the Islamic attack on Constantinople. Daniel suggests ‘number’ refers to years. It’s just another place to look. So look.

A connection between history and prophecy that can be trusted. Your interpretation? Not so much. Your translation? Not so much except for numbers and colors. Somehow they have survived what translators do to the Word of God. Some things are sacred.

Are you willing to die for your beliefs? Good question. You will die either way but you can survive the second death. That’s the Truth.

A bow, a covenant between God and man. Constantine from the Mediterranean Sea aka the white sea. He started a Christian empire where they would reign with Christ a thousand years. The Byzantine Empire is the place to start fitting history with prophecy.
