a horn is

A Dynasty 

is just a theory for some exegists who have attempted to interpret the Apocalypse.  Does it work?  Only if you can count dynasties that have attacked the whore.  I can’t so I look to others who can.  Islam can.  The tenth dynasty of Islam destroyed the whore.  The second one was the first one to attack her and it built the Dome of the Rock, the abomination of desolation.  Time to look at Daniel already connected with “ten horns”.

keep looking for

A Connection 

with common words.  Now that chapters 9, 11, 17, and 20 are connected with the bottomless pit, we can connect the beast that comes out of the pit with Daniel and other chapters of the Apocalypse.  Just look for “ten horns”.  This is a major connection and very helpful in identifying the ten horns.  First we have to look at the whore who is hated by the ten horns.

A Reliable Method 

for interpreting prophecy if not the only reliable method.  Only history can verify the fulfillment of prophecy and only numbers can reliably identify the valid historical events.

A Fit 

but not proof.  While history is the only way to demonstrate the fulfillment of prophecy, it takes many pieces to fit in order to be sure you are on the right track.  You can trust numbers which do not require interpretation but you need a number of pieces to fit.  So start with the big pieces.  They are the hardest to fit.  Like a thousand years.  A big fit.

abomination of desolation

A Holy Place 

spoken of by Jesus.  Daniel mentions abomination three times.  The first has “he shall make it desolate” and that should be Antiochus IV Epiphanes.  The second has “they shall place” and that should be Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan.  The third is the time between the destruction of the first Temple and the placement of the Dome of the Rock preventing the third Temple.  It fits.

the four beasts

A Temple 

will make.  Daniel 7 has four beasts.  There are so many to choose from so how did he come up with these?  How did the interpreters identify them?  Jesus gives us a great clue by mentioning the abomination of desolation spoken of by Daniel.  If you Google ‘abomination of desolation’, Wikipedia shows three possibilities; Antiochus IV Epiphanes in 167 BC, Titus in 70 AD, and Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan in 691 AD.  The only missing one is Babylon and the first Temple.  So we have Babylon destroying the first Temple, Greece desecrating the second, Rome destroying the second, and Islam preventing the third.  It fits.
