Ellis vs Ellis 

A Crisis in the Church 

John T. Ellis may have started it in 1955 but it was John M. Ellis who reported the results in 2020.  The liberal experiment has failed because the Church was pushed aside in the search for “Academic Excellence”.  Karl Marx, on the left, couldn’t be happier.  He recognized the Church as the only obstacle preventing his socialist utopia.  Ayn Rand, on the right, also saw the God problem preventing any individual from obtaining their ultimate fulfillment.  If you want to save yourself, you better figure out what you can do to help save His Church.  I am not talking about prayer.

a disorder 

A Priest 

a trust problem.  You hear a lot about pedophilia but not so much about the homosexual priest.  Now mercy and forgiveness is the go to sermon du jour.  All of the above is protecting the real problem.  Not so much the child.  We don’t hear that much about abortion, divorce, and having a father in the home.  We do hear about climate change.  So much for protecting the child.

A Disorder 

a lack of appreciation.  A life not worth living.  How does this happen?  Not having something to look forward to like some kind of improvement to your current situation that you can control.  A belief that this is possible is all you need.  For many if not most religion provides this.  It gives life a meaning or purpose.  It provides an appreciation for what is possible.

A Belief Proclaimed 

a victim’s discomfort.  Do we change our beliefs because of another’s discomfort?  Why do they need our approval?  We have to get along without theirs.  How do you become a victim?  Is it the only way to get rights?  Why can’t we just do right?

A Choice 

a referendum.  Are you going to vote for Planned Parenthood or life, marriage, and family?  Are you going to vote for climate change or religious freedom? Are you going to vote for protests and rioting or law and order?  Are you going to vote for marxism or liberty?  The choice is yours.  It couldn’t be clearer.

A Forced Silence 

a restriction on speech.  Transgender rights in Canada not only prohibits certain kinds of speech, it actually forces certain kinds of speech.  Your children can now choose their gender and any treatment concerning it without your approval.  LGBT rights continue to expand.  Check with your lawyer before you say anything or refuse to say certain things.

A Vote for Freedom 

a voice allowed to speak.  Free speech.  Religious freedom. Fight for it.  Vote for it.  Vote for those protecting your liberties.  Chaos is created by marxists.  Police are all we have protecting us from it.  Civilization must have law and order.  It will guarantee your right to speak even if it is not politically correct.

A Problem for the Church 

a left also a threat.  Marx, the father of communism, saw religion as the problem.  Ayn Rand, the mother of the right, had no use for religion.  In the middle stands the Church protecting your freedom.  Only the Church teaches the sanctity of life, marriage, and family.  The laity must now protect the Church from the evil without and the evil within.

A Freedom 

a voice of reason.  To be heard.  To be able to speak.  As long as no one is offended.  The victim has rights.  Can’t hurt his feelings.  Mustn’t judge his actions.  That’s religion.  That’s so yesterday.  We are all okay.  If you don’t agree they will come after you.  They know where you live.  They are getting paid to do this.

A Free Expression of Beliefs 

a brick thrown, glass broken, end of the discussion.  No more freedom.  The brick thrower belongs in jail.  He can’t be trusted.  He is interfering with your freedom.  Your freedom is protected as long as it doesn’t interfere with the freedom of others.  It’s not that complicated.
