A Necessary Ingredient
A suffering that somehow brings out the best and the worst. One way or another we react to suffering whether it be ours or others. The cross is a reminder of who suffered and why. Why suffer when you can take a pill or just change the channel? You can ignore it until it happens to you. Then you have to look for solutions, reasons, and meaning. If you have the time.

A subjective truth. You decide and “ye shall be as gods”. Free to choose your gender. Free to marry anyone without consequence. Protected by the state. Equity is assured with “a pair of balances”. And “your reproductive rights” are protected by law. Babies are killed but you care about climate change and racism.
A Control Of Subjective Truth
A censorship. They care. That is what unites them. Most are living the good life but are experiencing some sort of guilt for those who are not. Traditional religion is chasing them by ignoring old standards whereas progressivism is leading them, challenging them, with concerns about social injustice and climate change. Don’t you care?
