Islam is the fourth beast of Daniel and the second beast of John with “ten horns”. The first and greatest threat to Christianity.

A Color
A sea. A clue for identifying the Four Horsemen. The Red and Black Sea are significant locations. Not so much with the White Sea unless you consider the Mediterranean aka the white sea. This would be from the west. The Red Sea from the south. The Black Sea from the north. The colors are significant and can be taken literally.

A witness. Church and state working together to proclaim the good news. The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. Not for just a thousand years. They will reign with Christ for a thousand years. This is history.

A Julian Calendar
A beginning in 44 BC. 622 in the Gregorian calendar, which began in 1582, was the beginning of the Islamic calendar. 666 in the Julian calendar marked the start of Islam. A number in Daniel 9:2 refers to the number of years. That is what Daniel understood by books.

A light and an olive tree. Two witnesses. The olive tree is the state and the candlestick is the Church based on a search for two olive trees which leads to to Zerubbabel a governor who is always associated with Joshua a high priest. History has two Christian empires; the Byzantine Empire and the Holy Roman Empire. They are the two witnesses.

A Knowledge Shall Be Increased
A prediction by Daniel. Many running to and fro suggests it might be accompanied by a great deal of confusion. Enter the internet. Now the good news can reach all nations which suggests that the end may be near. Paul sees a falling away, which we can now see, preceding the end. The signs are there.

A big hit on the internet but can’t be found in the bible. The “reign with Christ” can be found in the bible. A thousand year Christian empire can be found where they “reigned with Christ” but the Byzantine Empire is being ignored. It is not a mystery why. Using your interpretation and not history will always lead to a misinterpretation of prophecy.

A mystery and likely to remain so. Babylon the Great is Constantinople. A fit with all the characteristics. No other city has them all. Many waters. Mystery. Seven hills. Trade. Fallen, fallen. Can be found no more at all. Google can find it. It’s in Texas. Five out of six ain’t bad.

A New Jerusalem
A city coming down from God with a river running through it. The walls have twelve gates. Rome has it all. Rome is the New Jerusalem. The center for Christianity just as Jerusalem is the center for Jews. See the map. The walls with twelve gates and a river running through it. Three gates is each direction.

A Witness
A blog that has reached 62 countries. Not quite all nations but it is a nice start. Daniel sealed the book but noted “knowledge shall be increased” in the end and John was told not to seal “the sayings of the prophecy of this book”. Thanks to the internet the gospel is reaching all nations and knowledge is being increased. The time is near.
