a misinterpretation. Even Peter knew he was in Babylon. Some are still looking for his bones south of Baghdad. That is the real mystery but Rome having seven hills was never a mystery. The seven hills of Constantinople is still a mystery and likely to remain so. It will never fit with their narrative.

A Research Project
A revelation. Just one more attempt to understand what was revealed 2000 years ago. Someone referred to the pope as a whore based on chapter 17 of the Apocalypse. That can’t be right. There must be another explanation. Another interpretation that would make more sense. My study started about 23 years ago.
A Whore
a fit with history. Constantinople is Babylon the Great and Islam is the beast that hated the whore. It is a mystery and likely to remain so but the fit with history cannot be denied. It is fallen, is fallen, and can be found no more at all. It had merchants. It has many waters. It has seven mountains. No other city fits like Constantinople.

a horn that will hate the whore. Constantinople fell to the tenth dynasty of Islam. Ten is just a number but it fits. So does seven. Rome had seven dynasties. Rome and Islam are the two beasts of the Apocalypse and the last two beasts of Daniel. Not proof but you can’t ignore the numbers that fit.

a dynasty. A premise. Seven a key word in chapter 17 counting angels, vials, heads, mountains, and kings. Good luck counting kings. Historians count dynasties and Rome had seven. It also had seven hills along with Constantinople, the New Rome. Lots to consider here. Just check the numbers.

A Fourth Beast of Daniel
a second beast of the Apocalypse. The “ten horns” tell us that. Is the third beast of Daniel the first beast of the Apocalypse? Let’s see if it fits. Babylon, Greece, Rome, and Islam were all problems for the temple. Rome and Islam were problems for the Christians. So far a fit. Just need to identify the seven heads and ten horns to be sure.

a beast of the Apocalypse. What can Daniel tell us about beasts? What makes a beast a beast? What do all the beasts of Daniel have in common? The Temple. At least three of the four. Babylon destroyed the first temple. Greece desecrated the second. Rome destroyed the second. Islam is preventing the third. Sounds like a beast.

A Number
a connection with prophecy and with other parts of the bible. The “ten horns” of Daniel helps us understand those of the Apocalypse. Both tell us the horns are kings. Most likely dynasties. A beast or empire with only ten kings cannot be significant. Counting dynasties makes more sense. See if that fits.

a thousand year Christian empire where they gathered in His Name and they reigned with Christ. The Byzantine Empire. Totally ignored by the Premillennialists who are looking for the “reign of Christ” which you cannot find in the bible. Why not start with history and see where it takes you? See if it fits.

a misinterpretation. Don’t look for “reign of Christ” in the bible. It isn’t there but you will find it over 6 million times on the internet. Go figure. You will find “reign with Christ” in the bible and less than a million times on the internet. Somehow “reign with Christ” became “reign of Christ” and Premillennialism became very popular. History not so much.
