a reliable connection between prophecy and history. Your interpretation not so much. All the different translations of the bible seem to agree on numbers. Especially a “thousand years” when they reigned with Christ. Not the “reign of Christ” which will get over 5 million hits on the internet. Not so much with the bible. 0 Bible results for “”reign of Christ”.” Something to think about.

A Reliable Word
a consistent interpretation. Numbers are one of the few things all 60 English versions of the bible agree on. They all agree on “a thousand years”, 666, “ten horns”, and “seven heads” . Can we find historical events that have all these numbers in a meaningful way? Start with the biggest number. A thousand years.

a historical event. Only history can confirm the fulfillment of a prophecy. Based on your interpretation. Can it be trusted? Can your bible translation be trusted? Can 60 different English translations of the bible be trusted? They don’t agree on the “word of God”. Do they agree on anything? Maybe numbers.

a guide to interpretation. You can trust numbers and maybe colors to be reliably translated. Not so much with the other words. The “words of God” are seen differently by the many different translators. Who can you trust? Historians. What can you trust? Maybe numbers. Historians have trouble with dates but they do get close enough.

A Kingdom of God
a reference to the millennium. The word “kingdom” cannot be found in Chapter 20 . It is not the “reign of Christ”. They “reigned with Christ”. A thousand years has a beginning and an end. The Kingdom of God will not end. Way too many think the thousand years will begin with the Second Coming. They need to check history.

a covenant between God and the earth. The rider of the white horse had a rainbow in his hand and is from the Mediterranean aka the white sea. Constantine made the world safe for Christians. He started a Christian empire that lasted a thousand years where they reigned with Christ.

a location and a clue in identifying the four horsemen. The Red Sea and the Black Sea suggest Mohammed, who takes peace from the earth, and Marx who is the father of communism. The White Sea doesn’t help unless you consider the Mediterranean as the white sea and the bow as a rainbow.

a church and a state represented by the olive tree. The Apocalypse and Zechariah are connected by “two olive trees”. This leads to Zerubbabel, the state, and that leads to Joshua, the church, and together they built the second temple. The Holy Roman Empire and the Byzantine Empire are the two witnesses of the Apocalypse.

a fit with Babylon the Great. Constantinople is fallen, is fallen, and can be found no more at all. This is a mystery and likely to remain so. It had seven mountains, many waters, and many merchants. Constantinople is the only city with all these characteristics. Why it is being ignored is definitely a mystery.

a bible passage fulfilled. A sea of glass mingled with fire. They used Greek fire on the Sea of Marmara, which was like a sheet of glass, and the year was 666. Historians stay away from the year 666 but there is no doubt as to what was going on at that time. Islam was attacking Constantinople.
