a history book

A Record Of What Was –

A future that is unknown. Only history can be trusted. Everything else is fiction or someone’s fantasy. Historians police themselves. They all look at the same records and check to see if they are consistent with other records. History helps us understand what works and what doesn’t in books that you want to read if you want to know.

a prophecy

A Fulfillment –

A history is necessary to confirm the fulfillment of a prophecy.  The future can be anything you want it to be to satisfy your interpretation.  History and the numbers that connect it to prophecy can confirm the accuracy of your interpretation.  Only the prophet knows the future.  We can only know history.

a family tradition

A Reunion –

A time to get together. We now have Zoom reunions. We are so far apart in every way. We have to be careful of what we talk about. The family ties are stronger than the differences we have created. We have to remember what we have in common.

Daily writing prompt
Write about a few of your favorite family traditions.

a connection with history

A Number –

A reliable connection between prophecy and history.  Your interpretation not so much.  All the different translations of the bible seem to agree on numbers.  Especially a “thousand years” when they reigned with Christ.  Not the “reign of Christ” which will get over 5 million hits on the internet.  Not so much with the bible.  0 Bible results for “”reign of Christ”.”  Something to think about.

a leisure time

A Time To Enjoy –

A beer in my rocking chair on my porch watching the world go by. This includes checking to see what plants need to be moved, replaced, watered, trimmed, etc.

a commentary

A Witness –

A view of what was.  We don’t know what the Apocalypse looked like in the third century.  Victorinus knew and we know what his commentary looked like. It didn’t include the seven churches John wrote to.  It did include the seven churches Paul wrote to.  There is a reasonable explanation for this.  He is not the only witness.
