A Purpose
A reason for the Apocalypse. We know where for sure. Patmos. We know John wrote it three times. We don’t know when or why. Wondering why might be more telling. The oldest existing commentary on the Apocalypse is by Victorinus. What can he tell us? He can’t tell us about the seven churches. Why?
A Beginning
A new world order and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. You just need to overcometh an you shall not be hurt of the second death. This is eternal life.

A First Coming
A man sent from God. His name was John. A voice crying in the wilderness preparing the way for the Lamb of God. The word “lamb” found 27 times is the Apocalypse. John the Baptist who “bare record” was mentioned by John the Apostle to the seven churches. John Chrysostom is also your brother. The third John.
A Crisis in the Church
A prediction made by Mary. We have to rely on the laity. Fight not flight. A few will stay and fight for His Church. You can be a part of this. If you have an ear, listen to what the Spirit saith unto the churches. You will be told what to do. Prepare the way. Be a voice crying in the wilderness. John the Baptist pray for us.
A Bible You Can Believe
A choice of over 60 English translations. Not counting all the revisions. The Word of God keeps changing. Good thing His Church is built on a rock. She won’t change. Right? So who or what can you trust? Numbers and colors. Somehow all the translators got them right. Why not use them to connect history to prophecy?
A Third John
A patriarch was in Ephesus replacing seven corrupt bishops. At the time five of the seven dynasties of the Roman Empire had already fallen and Jerome was finishing the Vulgate. He may have needed a reliable copy of the Apocalypse to translate. John Chrysostom was someone you could trust.

A First Coming
A preparing of the way for the Lamb of God. The word “lamb” is found 27 times in the Apocalypse. John the Apostle knew John the Baptist knew the Lamb of God. It was John the Baptist who bare record of the word of God. The first Apocalypse. John the Apostle wrote the second.
A Church to be Trusted
A reason to believe historians. Are historians more trustworthy than theologians? They don’t have denominations. They don’t have a pope. They just have other historians checking their work. Self policing. They don’t carry guns. Just a pen. It is mightier than the sword. History records this.
A Resistance to Change
A tradition protected. Standards work. A proven way of doing things. The Church built on a rock is not going to move. The teachings of the Church are not being changed. They are being ignored by those within the Church. Life, Marriage, and Family must be protected. The child must be protected. Let them come.
A Father
A protector of the family made in Their Image. The family is a trinity. It is the child that joins a man and woman together. One flesh. Protecting the child is job one. Let the children come and do not offend the little ones. Life, Marriage, and Family. Protect them. It’s your job. It’s the truth. Saint Joseph pray for us.
