To get Catholics to vote for the Harris/Biden ticket, bishops must ignore their support for abortion. Abortion is a ‘Preeminent Priority’ but they do a good job of ignoring it and talking about climate change instead.

a refusal to even use the word homosexual. When a man abuses a younger male somehow it is not a homosexual act. It is an abuse of power. Not a homosexual act. So instead of trying to identify the homosexual man, we attack the authority of the man and the source of that authority, The Church. No problem.

a first step is to start using the word homosexual. Does anyone really know what clericalism is? We have homosexual priests and bishops. Lots of them. They are disordered. This is no place for homosexuals and it all starts with the seminaries. We can’t have homosexual bishops running them.

a clerical problem that can’t be talked about because there are too many homosexual priests and bishops. We have to learn to live with them. We have to make them comfortable. We have to at least be silent about it. No gossip. We have to pray that the problem will somehow go away.

a takeover by the rebels. “Now the few people manipulating the meeting were agitator-priests, Saul Alinsky types.” It was 1976. The “spirit” of Vatican 2 raised its ugly head. Now it was just a matter of time. As long as the “good guys” remained silent, the takeover would be complete. And the money kept rolling in.

a purpose of Vatican 2 was to make protestants comfortable. Ecumentical was the word. This made many Catholics so uncomfortable that they left. Now we hear about the spirit of Vatican 2 that seems to go on and on while even more leave way outnumbering the protestants coming in. Let’s go back to making the protestants uncomfortable.

a prayer? Talk of climate change? Talk of clericalism? No talk of homosexuality. Talk of mercy and forgiveness is good but some kind of change must be forced by the laity. Money is not the only thing respected by our bishops but it seems to be way ahead of whatever is in second place.
