A Head
A dynasty. Five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come. The Roman Empire had seven dynasties. Chrysostom is the only significant John during the sixth dynasty and he was in Ephesus when Jerome was finishing the Vulgate. Someone had to verify that John the Apostle wrote the Apocalypse to get it in the bible.

A High Priest
A candlestick and olive tree. Two witnesses. A search for two olive trees leads to Zechariah 4:3 and that leads to Zerubbabel a governor who is always associated with Joshua a high priest. Church and state. History has two Christian empires; the Byzantine Empire and the Holy Roman Empire. Both were defeated by the horns of the second beast. The Byzantines actually used Greek Fire coming out of the mouths of animal figures mounted on the boats to defeat the Muslim attackers.

A Him Or An It
A translation problem. Can you find the beast if you are looking for a “him” instead of an “it”? In Revelation 13:1; 20 have “his horns”, 20 have “its horns”, 15 have “It had ten horns” . We need Daniel 7:7 to clear this up. “it had ten horns” is a clear winner. You need to look for an “it” and not a “him” to find the beast. It makes a difference.

A Temple
A desolation. Babylon destroyed the first temple. Greece desecrated the second. Rome destroyed the second. Islam is preventing the third. The four beasts of Daniel. They all messed with the temple. That is what determines a beast in the mind of Daniel. John seems to agree. Jesus mentioned it. What is in the holy place now?

A leopard. A connection with the beasts of Daniel. John knows Daniel knows beasts. Also in common are the ten horns. John’s beast was like a leopard, a bear, and a lion. Daniel is the key to understanding the beasts of the Apocalypse. What do the beasts of Daniel have in common? The Temple. Don’t mess with the Temple.

A Mystery
A beast that was, and is not. The beast that was had seven heads and the beast that is to come has ten horns. History will verify the fulfillment of prophecy. Only history can. Just look for it but don’t use your interpretation. Use numbers. They are not misleading. Nearly all the bible translations agree on the numbers. Not much else.

A Beast That Was, Is Not, And Yet To Come
A chapter with numbers. Ten horns, seven heads, five are fallen, and two beasts. Babylon the Great ties them all together. Good luck counting kings. If you count dynasties, five had fallen when John Chrysostom was in Ephesus replacing seven corrupt bishops. He is your brother on Patmos.
A beast with a deadly wound. One artist got it right. Constantine made the world safe for christians. The rider of the white horse from the white Aegean Sea had a covenant with God and started a thousand year empire where they reigned with Christ. A clear fulfillment of prophecy in history.
A Red Sea
A great sword and power to take peace from the earth. Mohammed, the antichrist and the father of the second beast from the Red Sea is the rider of the red horse. History records the wars against the saints. The ten horns are the ten Islamic dynasties. The ten horns also connect Daniel.

A Holy Place
A daily sacrifice taken away. Jesus points to Daniel, the holy place, and the abomination of desolation. The Dome of the Rock is standing in the holy place and in the way of the third temple. Daniel knows what is important. The Temple. Only a beast would take away the daily sacrifice. Only those with understanding will see this.
