A Necessary Thing –
A list of ways: beer, rocking chair, cats, trimming plants, birds at the water dish, hummingbirds, music, sudoku, margarita, etc. Stress is the killer. It is also what motivates. A necessary thing in moderation.

A Favorite Restaurant –
A rocking chair on the patio. Gardening. A water dish for the birds. A hummingbird feeder. Cooking. Posting. Church on Sunday. Meditating. Bike ride in the morning. 9
A Way To Make It Happen –
A beer, a rocking chair, and a patio whenever the weather is just right. Indoor music with beer when it’s not.
A Beer Or Two –
A real treat. Some can’t drink. There are those who must. My dad was one of them. He had ten children so he wouldn’t have to get up to get another beer. One Lent he gave up beer and smoking. My mother would not allow it to happen again. “Doing penance is fine but forcing others to do it is wrong.”
A Black Cat –
A reasonable fear. Not here. Just another color of my favorite animal. I do believe in spirits like the soul that will leave the body when the time is right. That is a reasonable belief. I also believe in spirits that you drink. Like beer.
A Life Without It –
A need like air, water, and food? I’m thinking. My bike, my coffee pot. my egg pod, my rocking chair, my pipe, my beer, my computer. I’m thinking. When I take a trip, I have to bring beer, a cooler, and a koozie. That’s three.
A Time To Enjoy –
A beer in my rocking chair on my porch watching the world go by. This includes checking to see what plants need to be moved, replaced, watered, trimmed, etc.
