A Third John –
A companion in tribulation. Chrysostom was in Ephesus replacing seven corrupt bishops. He could have gone to Patmos for the word of God. He must have known about Jerome who was translating the bible and that many believed the Apocalypse didn’t belong in the bible unless of course it was written by the Apostle. He could find out.
A Translation Issue
A beast. Your bible could have as many as 296 beasts or as few as 87. There are 20 translations that consider the beast in Revelation 13:1 a ‘he’ and 37 translations call it an ‘it’. This is a significant difference. Daniel 7:7 can help us here. The fourth beast is an it in all 52 translations. It has ten horns just like the beast in Revelation.

A City Of God –
A bible defined. Augustine didn’t want another bible but Pope Damasus did for almost the same reason. A lot of confusion about what was in the bible. Augustine finally writes about the Apocalypse in chapter 7 of Book 20 in his City of God well after Jerome finished his Vulgate which would become the official bible of the Church.
A New Advent –
A place for letters to and from Jerome. Not only were his letters preserved but also his Vulgate and the Apocalypse. Was he more important than the pope? Letters from Pope Damasus who asked him to translate the bible, from Augustine who didn’t want another bible, and from Theophilus who was responsible for the exile of Chrysostom, all suggest he was.
A Fit With Daniel
A king of the south, Mohammed, and his daughter, Fatimah, along with one of his commanders, Muawiyah, who will become even stronger is a good fit with Daniel. Some of the bibles use the word princes (25) instead of the more believable words like commanders (11) as we shall see in a following post.

A Turn Of The Fifth Century
A major player. Jerome was finishing his Vulgate and Augustine was starting his City of God. Chrysostom was in Ephesus replacing seven corrupt bishops. The Church was in good hands. Jerome and Augustine exchanged letters. Chrysostom, who was exiled, exchanged letters with the pope. The Apocalypse was in the bible. These dots can now be connected.
A Passage Left Out Of Some Bibles
A second death. Left out was 20:5 which included the first resurrection. Some things in the bible are hard to explain. Chrysostom, Jerome, and Augustine might be some of those who had part in the first resurrection and they reigned together with Christ. All of this will be revealed at the end. You can look now if you have an ear.
A Reasonable Explanation
A fit with what is known about John. The Baptist knew the lamb. The Apostle knew the Baptist, his followers, and the seven churches. Chrysostom was in Ephesus replacing seven bishops when Jerome was translating the bible. Once Jerome put the Apocalypse in the Bible, no one could take it out and Augustine would then comment on it.
A Place To Start
A Christian empire where they reigned with Christ is easy to find. The reign of Christ cannot be found in the Bible. Nor can it be found in history. Only on the internet. “Reigned with Christ” is not “reign of Christ”. Big difference ignored by so many. That is why they ignore the Byzantine Empire which fits with all the major numbers.
A Reason to Live
A meaning for life. A test of wills. Don’t bury your talent. Learn what you can. Teach what you can. You will need help. Ask for it. Seek the truth. You will find it. Knock and it will be open unto you. The Truth will not only set you free, It will make you happy. It will help you pass the final test. We are being tested. You may not find that word in your bible.
