A Number in Daniel
A key to understanding the Apocalypse. John knows Daniel and Daniel knows the number of years. The numbers John uses have been preserved in nearly all of the bible translations. They can be trusted in identifying historical events that might be a fulfillment of prophecy. Not just one number but all the numbers must fit.

The translators and interpreters of the bible can’t seem to agree on most of the words but somehow they agree on the numbers. The word of God may vary but not His numbers. Follow the numbers.

A Father Of The Church
A bible defined. The “Vulgate” brought to you by Jerome is the first official Bible of the Catholic Church and it included the Apocalypse. Why? He was convinced it was written by the Apostle. Many didn’t think so and that included Chrysostom who was in Ephesus when Jerome finished his work.
A Turn Of The Fifth Century
A bible in the making. Three significant players: Augustine, Chrysostom, and Jerome. Their works have been preserved. The writings of John not so much. The Church was in good hands during this critical time. “City of God”, Ephesus, and the Vulgate are big dots that need to be connected.
A Canon
A redaction at the turn of the fifth century. Jerome defined the bible when he finished the Vulgate which would become the official bible of the Church. It contains the oldest existing copy of the Apocalypse. We can only speculate on what it looked like before that time based on other older existing documents.

A Christian Empire
A bishop extraordinaire was in Ephesus to replace seven corrupt bishops at the beginning of the fifth century. John Chrysostom, who never quoted the Apocalypse, could not ignore what John the Apostle may have left there. At that time Jerome could have been looking for a reliable copy of the Apocalypse. He was finishing the Vulgate.

A dynasty. Five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come. The Roman Empire had seven dynasties. Chrysostom is the only significant John during the sixth dynasty and he was in Ephesus when Jerome was finishing the Vulgate. Someone had to verify that John the Apostle wrote the Apocalypse to get it in the bible.

It would confirm once and for all that the Apocalypse belonged in the bible. Before that the jury was out. Chrysostom was just one of those who didn’t accept the Apocalypse. What could be the reason?

A phrase not found in the bible. “Reigned with Christ” can be found. A thousand years can be found in history. Your interpretation, “reign of Christ”, can be found on the internet but not in your bible. This is why you can’t trust your interpretation. Trust the numbers.
A Reading Of This Prophecy
A blessing if you have an ear for this prophecy. The time was at hand. That was then. Now we have history. That is where prophecy is fulfilled. Look for it using numbers which you can trust. Not your interpretation. Not even your version of the bible. Somehow all translations get the numbers right.
