A beginning in 44 BC. 622 in the Gregorian calendar, which began in 1582, was the beginning of the Islamic calendar. 666 in the Julian calendar marked the start of Islam. A number in Daniel 9:2 refers to the number of years. That is what Daniel understood by books. A calendar conversion requires a calculation.

A date is now required. “no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark” This prophecy is fulfilled. So what happened in 666? Which calendar? The Julian starting in 45 BC would be 622, the year of the Hijrah. Gibbon has Islam attacking Constantinople 46 years after it. Put 46 in an Islamic calendar converter and you get 666.

A Fulfillment of Prophecy –
