A bible defined. Augustine didn’t want another bible but Pope Damasus did for almost the same reason. A lot of confusion about what was in the bible. Augustine finally writes about the Apocalypse in chapter 7 of Book 20 in his City of God well after Jerome finished his Vulgate which would become the official bible of the Church.
A Cleanup On Aisle Three
A confusion in the making. Where is the truth? “To whom shall we go?” Thank you Peter for asking. Also thanks to all the translators who got it right or at least agreed as to what was said. Someone has to make the call. Someone has to be in charge. Especially if you prefer to have some kind of order. Chaos can get ugly.

A conjecture that it was written by John the Baptist was first suggested by Josephine Massyngbaerde Ford. She is not the first to suggest multiple authors of the Apocalypse. Peter Vischer did suggest it was “originally a purely Jewish composition”. It has also been suggested that it was originally written in Hebrew.

A way of confusion. Clarity is lost. The benefit of the doubt is no longer warranted. The bishops are not filling the void. The laity is. They don’t even have to be Catholic. Jordan Peterson is the bright light shining in the darkness. Reason, logic, and uncommon sense. We need rules.
A Time Of Confusion
A way to heaven. The first attempt at a one world government is frustrated due to an inability to communicate. Building a tower to heaven was the lie at that time. Today, solving the climate change crisis is the lie. Life is the Truth and the Way. The lie will always create confusion.
A Confusion About What To Expect
A feeling of fear, dread, and uneasiness. A cause of stress. We are losing the rules that tell us what to do. How to act. They also tell us what to expect. We are never ready for chaos. Rules are necessary. Stop it. The stop sign prevents the crash. Without rules we will crash into each other.

A vision in the Apocalypse that is repeated. A theory developed by Victorinus that is necessary to understand what John wrote. It means chapters in the Apocalypse can’t be considered to be in chronological order. That only leads to misinterpretation and a great deal of confusion.
A Reason To Read
A reader who is blessed. Promised at the beginning and again at the end. Five times in between for a total of seven. Being blessed is a good thing. Especially during times of confusion. Our leaders are lying. Where do we go for the truth? Can we recognize the truth?
A New Jargon
A confusion that is the enemy of truth. Gaslighting. Virtue signaling. Woke. Reset. Cancel culture. etc. Don’t give in to the new way of talking. Stay with the old way of talking like life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. The truth is simple. Like Life, Marriage, and Family. Simple is a good thing.
