A Quality Of Life Improved –
A morning bike ride. It started with walking but in case you haven’t heard, too much walking over 70 is hard on the joints. Exercise is important but some kind of meditation comes first. Talking with God. Don’t forget that part.

A Reason Why –
A salt question for AI. I call him AI. He says salt causes water retention. So how does drinking water reduce water retention? It gets rid of the salt. Sounds like a circular argument. It’s complicated, says AI. Salt is a necessary ingredient. Thank you AI.

A Soupy Sales –
A kid that never grew up. Who could forget White Fang and Black Tooth? Today it would be racist. Was I too sick to go to school? I got to stay home and watch Soupy. Who is at the door? Thanks for the memory. Old enough to remember.

A Light Before The Dawn –
A drive thru the night. My brother and I had a regular mattress in the back of the old station wagon. I took the first leg in the evening and was able to sleep a few hours before and after midnight. On my second shift I was driving “in the light before the dawn”. A favorite line in a song. It was the first time I witnessed the sky getting lighter and will never forget it. I often ride my bike at this time.

A Hot Chili –
A hot spicy one with no tomatoes. Just 80/20 hamburger, dark red kidney beans, white onions, chili powder, chicken broth, and extra crushed red pepper. I make spaghetti on the side because she can’t take the heat. It’s the best thing for a sore throat when you are coming down with a cold.

A Last Thing –
A pizza. Haven’t had one in a while. Doesn’t matter why. As you get older, what you eat that day becomes the main attraction if not the dailyprompt. Pepperoni pizza with coke can be very exciting.

A Design –
A massive parking lot in the center. Circular trains at the outer limits running both ways. Buses running in and out of the circle. Only service vehicles and uber rides on minor inner circles. All housing multiple dwelling buildings for either rent or ownership. Only moving pods allowed. A few details need to be worked out. The real challenge is what to do with existing cities. Can they be saved or transformed? Our car is our freedom but somehow it must be put in its proper place. We should be able to walk for most of our needs.

A Mystery –
A Catholic at a very young age gets to pick their confirmation name. I chose Francis who was told to fix the church. In my own very limited way I am trying to fix The Church. A time when you have to wonder about the Pope. To hell with the people, save His Church.
