A Most Important –
A life eternal. Life has meaning. We are being tested. Can we be trusted? What we do here determines that.

A Morning Bike Ride –
A necessary exercise. More important than the diet which is in second place.
A Movie –
A second or third time. An old movie with lots of stars. Many are free on YouTube but hard to find. The day is too long for old people who run out of energy and need something to fill the time.
A Strong Memory –
A breakfast treat. Cheerios. During the week we got oatmeal. Sometimes with raisins. On Sunday we got Cheerios.
A Game Changer –
A man led by God. Constantine the Great. He started a Christian Empire that would last a thousand years. Eusebius records this as if it were the Second Coming.
A Fourth Grade Girl –
A name to remember. Barbara. My friend also liked her. He rode my bike that I couldn’t ride, with me on it to her house about a mile away. We sat in the ditch calling her name.
A Great City –
A city that can be found no more at all. Constantinople. Hagia Sophia. What is left of it. Visit history.
A Thinker –
A time to think about me. Can you overthink it? The real danger is not to think at all. Meditate and let God control your thinking.
A Work In Progress –
A slow reduction in activity. Started morning bike ride at 71 and still doing it at 83. Time with grandchildren. Potted plants. Rocking chair. Neighborhood watch.
A Daily Use –
A stereo receiver that my son left with me. Being hard of hearing I need a speaker, the next oldest that my daughter gave me, close to my right ear. Both are connected to my TV. Now I have an ear to hear.
