A Book of Revelation. A mission. A new interpretation of the Apocalypse using numbers and colors to show that the Pope was not a whore. It was my job that started at the turn of the century. Only the library had the books that are now searchable online. A religious forum was my way of presenting it to others. My life now had meaning.

A Hollywood Ending –
A Pygmalion. Hollywood changed it for me, a hopeless romantic. Don’t know what Hollywood would do today but 60 years ago “My Fair Lady” was the best they have ever done. Today they might have Eliza running GM and saving the world with the electric car.

A Little Impact –
A life with English. There were attempts at learning Hindi, German, and Spanish but nothing came of it. Always admired those who learned a second language. My favorite saying is “koi baat nahi” which means “it matters little”. When I was learning computer language, I asked if anyone knew what DOS is and my daughter replied “DOS is gut”.

A morning routine. Think. Exercise. Eggs. Reduce carbs. Increase fat. Read. Pray. Love.

A Mother –
A thinker. A saint. She would pick up an old lady walking on the side of the road. Take her to the grocery store. Have tea with her while I sat in her dark smelly house. She took care of four extra children one school year because their mother was sick. She was the only girl in her high school algebra class. She couldn’t resist a 1500 piece puzzle. I will never forget her “there, there”.

A Family Not Broken –
A commitment. Never give up. Stay together. Save money and soul. Keep moving. Keep smiling. Play catch with your kids. Go fishing. Be nice to your mother. Ask for help. Remember those who have gone before us. Pay now and play later, Pray often.

A “My Fair Lady” –
A first professional play that I got to see when I was a senior in high school. I couldn’t believe how anything could be that good. Years later I would see the movie for the first time and again I couldn’t believe how anything could be that entertaining. Both times the circumstances were very unusual. I couldn’t believe what was happening to me.

A Something That Can Be Bought –
A short term feeling that comes with buying something new is soon replaced with the fear that there will never be enough money for the things that you really need. Love. It is not for sale. It comes with getting to know others. With appreciating others. With appreciating what you have that was free.

A Cooking Skill –
A quick simple meal using only one pot and just whatever you have on hand. The ability to create recipes. Cooking theory that tells you what can go together and why.

A Morning Routine –
A start with the dailyprompt and coffee. Getting noticed. A false leader. The Apocalypse, my primary objective was not getting noticed. My dailyprompt is. I really enjoy doing it and more are now looking at what I have to say about the Apocalypse.
