Chapter 17 has many waters and seven hills, Chapter 18 has many merchants and a great city that has fallen and can be found no more at all. A revelation in Daniel. What makes a beast a beast? Daniel knows beasts and abominations. Jesus wanted us to pay attention to them. An abomination is something that you do to the holy place. The Temple. Only a beast would mess with the Temple. With only two Temples, how do you get four beasts?

A connection with Daniel. The ten horns tie the fourth beast of Daniel to the second beast of the Apocalypse. The horns are dynasties and they are named by Islam. They can be connected by two big numbers. A thousand years and the year 666. The seven heads can also be connected with the seven dynasties of Rome.
A Problem For Historians
A letter to the church in Pergamos. Eusebius doesn’t know Antipas. Victorinus doesn’t know Antipas. They don’t know the churches either. No problem for speculators. There will be no need for speculation in the final days. Everything will be revealed. Knowledge shall be increased according to Daniel.
A Beast with Ten Horns
A connection to Daniel. John knows Daniel who knows beasts. The “ten horns” ties the second beast of the Apocalypse to the fourth beast of Daniel. They are kings or dynasties which are easier to count especially if you let them do the counting. The ten dynasties of Islam according to Islam.

There could be an exception. One was diverse from all the beasts that were before it. How do we identify a beast?

The first destroyed the first temple. The second desecrated the second. The third destroyed the second. The fourth is preventing the third. Babylon, Greece, Rome, and Islam.
