in the Apocalypse. It is tied to the ten horns of Daniel’s fourth beast. It is also tied to the lion, bear, and leopard of the first three beasts of Daniel. John’s two beasts must fit Daniel. To understand Daniel is to understand the Apocalypse. We need to find two common beasts.

based on the “ten horns”. The two beasts of the Apocalypse are the last two beasts of Daniel. Numbers and history are used to identify the fourth beast of Daniel. History clearly shows the ten dynasties of Islam made war with the saints. The Ottoman Empire, the tenth dynasty of Islam ended a thousand year Christian empire, the Byzantine Empire. It’s a fit.

in Daniel. Another fit with history that can’t be denied. Not proof but a fit. A better fit, if found, should be presented. Both John (the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings) and Daniel (the ten horns out of this kingdom are ten kings) tell us horns are kings. A dynasty has kings and Islam had ten dynasties named by Islam. Saladin, before whom there were three of the first horns, came out of the fourth dynasty and started the fifth. A fit with numbers.

We can’t be sure what a ‘horn’ is but we can be sure there are ‘ten’ of them. We can also be sure that the “ten horns” of Daniel are the same “ten horns” of the Apocalypse. They have to fit history.

Start with the Dome of the Rock which can be considered the abomination of desolation in that it is preventing the third Temple.
