they are putting into the future 2000 years later. Why? History does not fit their interpretation. Maybe their interpretation is wrong. Maybe the prophecy is about the first coming and not the second one. This is a reasonable explanation. Putting that which must shortly come to pass into the future 2000 years later is not reasonable.

Not until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. Not how long but how many.
