History and the numbers that connect it to prophecy can confirm the accuracy of your interpretation. Only the prophet knows the future. We can only know history.

A first principle. Ask why the Apocalypse was written. You are free to speculate if you don’t get a reasonable answer. Your speculation should be consistent with what is known or settled. Ask for guidance, look in the bible for clues, and don’t ignore history. The future is for prophets only.

A hope for the future. You can overcometh. You can be sealed. Don’t give up. The problems of the day are temporary. Keep the faith and the future is yours. Eternal life is a promise for those who do. This is the message of the Apocalypse. Listen if you have an ear.

A Reign With Christ
A place to start. The “Reign of Christ” cannot be found in the bible. You can find “a thousand years” where they “reigned with Christ”. The Byzantine Empire. The ‘reign of Christ’ can only be found in the future. ‘A thousand year reign’ can be found in history just by using the number and not your interpretation.

A place to look. We have a lot of history and the future may be limited. Only the prophets know what the future holds. The rest of us are limited to history. What has already happened. Tying it to prophecy based on someone’s interpretation is not reliable. Numbers are one of the few things all the different bibles agree on. Use them to tie history to prophecy.
