a connection with history

A Number

A reliable connection between prophecy and history.  Your interpretation not so much.  All the different translations of the bible seem to agree on numbers.  Especially a “thousand years” when they reigned with Christ.  Not the “reign of Christ” which will get over 5 million hits on the internet.  Not so much with the bible.  0 Bible results for “”reign of Christ”.”  Something to think about.

A Fulfillment

A historical event.  Only history can confirm the fulfillment of a prophecy.  Based on your interpretation.  Can it be trusted?  Can your bible translation be trusted?   Can 60 different English translations of the bible be trusted?  They don’t agree on the “word of God”.  Do they agree on anything?  Maybe numbers.

a necessary question

A Reason Or Cause

A first principle.  Ask why the Apocalypse was written.  You are free to speculate if you don’t get a reasonable answer.  Your speculation should be consistent with what is known or settled.  Ask for guidance, look in the bible for clues, and don’t ignore history.  The future is for prophets only.

a missing word

A Kingdom of God

A reference to the millennium.  The word “kingdom” cannot be found in Chapter 20 .  It is not the “reign of Christ”.  They “reigned with Christ”.  A thousand years has a beginning and an end.  The Kingdom of God will not end.  Way too many think the thousand years will begin with the Second Coming.  They need to check history.

A Fit With What You Know

A fit with what is known.  History.  Historians have higher standards than theologians.   A few months on Historum will convince you of that.  Only history can confirm the fulfillment of prophecy.  Only numbers and colors can connect the two.  Only prophets can predict the future.  The rest of us are limited to history.

A Picture With Many Pieces

A connection of shapes and colors.  The pieces have to fit not based on your interpretation but on something objective like numbers and colors even though many are symbolizing them.  It can mean anything you want it to mean unless you limit yourself.  Translators have taken a lot of liberties with the Word of God but somehow they all agree on numbers and colors.  Use them and history to paint a picture you can trust.
