A Christian Empire –
A bishop extraordinaire was in Ephesus to replace seven corrupt bishops at the beginning of the fifth century. John Chrysostom, who never quoted the Apocalypse, could not ignore what John the Apostle may have left there. At that time Jerome could have been looking for a reliable copy of the Apocalypse. He was finishing the Vulgate.

A Beginning of an Empire –
A tenth dynasty ended it. Constantine started the fifth dynasty of the Roman Empire. Constantinople fell to the tenth dynasty of Islam. The Roman Empire had seven dynasties. The beast had seven heads and ten horns. Here are three numbers; 1000, 10, and seven that tie history to prophecy. There are more like 666.

A Head –
A dynasty. Five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come. The Roman Empire had seven dynasties. Chrysostom is the only significant John during the sixth dynasty and he was in Ephesus when Jerome was finishing the Vulgate. Someone had to verify that John the Apostle wrote the Apocalypse to get it in the bible.

A Big Number –
A place to start. A thousand years is real. A time when they reigned with Christ. He promised to be with us when we gather in His name. If they were reigning when they gathered in His name, they reigned with Christ. That was the case with the Byzantine Empire, a Christian empire, that lasted a thousand years.

John Chrysostom was one of them and he was in Ephesus when Jerome was finishing the Vulgate. Astronomy points to Chrysostom as the writer of the Apocalypse according to Morozov. Numbers in the bible somehow survived all the translations. All the versions. All the interpretations. Numbers can help us connect history to the prophecies.

A Bare Record –
A connection. A bare record ties John the Baptist to John the Apostle and the Lamb of God. Just the word “lamb” ties John the Baptist to the Apocalypse. Only John the Apostle knew John the Baptist knew the Lamb of God. The original Apocalypse was about the first coming, which must shortly come to pass, to prepare the way.

A number to verify a fit. Your interpretation cannot be trusted. Only history can verify the fulfillment of prophecy. Only numbers along with history can verify your interpretation of prophecy. Only prophets can predict the future. If you need the future for your interpretation of prophecy, think again. You are ignoring history and numbers.
