A Temple
A desolation. Babylon destroyed the first temple. Greece desecrated the second. Rome destroyed the second. Islam is preventing the third. The four beasts of Daniel. They all messed with the temple. That is what determines a beast in the mind of Daniel. John seems to agree. Jesus mentioned it. What is in the holy place now?

A king of the south is Mohammed. His daughter is Fatimah. His commander(not prince) is Muawiyah the king of the north who gave us Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan, a raiser of taxes, who placed the abomination that maketh desolate . The Dome of the Rock is now in the holy place spoken of by Jesus.
A Desolation
A third temple has not happened and will not happen. Not one stone here will be left upon another. Daniel has three references to the abomination. The first one is Antiochus IV and he shall make it desolate. The second is the Umayyad dynasty and they shall placethe Dome of the Rock which now stands in the holy place preventing the daily sacrifice.

A holy place desolated. The beasts of Daniel have been named: Babylon, Persia, Greece, and Rome. They all had something to do with the temple except Persia. A revelation in Daniel. What makes a beast a beast? Daniel knows beasts and abominations. Jesus wanted us to pay attention to them. An abomination is something that you do to the holy place. The Temple. Only a beast would mess with the Temple. With only two Temples, how do you get four beasts?

A temple where “there shall not be left here one stone upon another”. Jesus wants us to pay attention to the “abomination of desolation”. What is in the holy place now? Only Daniel knows and he also knows beasts. So what makes a beast a beast? A good question. There must be something special about a beast of Daniel.
