a daily sacrifice shall be taken away. What is in the Holy Place now? Daniel has three references to abomination. The first is “he” and most agree he was Antiochus IV Epiphanes. The second is “they” shall place the abomination which is a better fit with the Dome of the Rock that is preventing the daily sacrifice.

A Holy Place
a desolation. They shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. Who are they? What is being placed that would take away the daily sacrifice? What is in the holy place now? What is preventing the third temple? It has been there for over 13 centuries.
A Temple
a revelation in Daniel. What makes a beast a beast? Daniel knows beasts and abominations. Jesus wanted us to pay attention to them. An abomination is something that you do to the holy place. The Temple. Only a beast would mess with the Temple. With only two Temples, how do you get four beasts?

A Red Sea
a connection to the fourth beast of Daniel and the second beast of the Apocalypse. Can you say Antichrist? He who denieth the Father and the Son. Mohammed is the father of Islam which is responsible for the abomination of desolation. The Dome of the Rock now stands in the holy place preventing the third temple.
A Beast
in the making. Daniel has four beasts but only two temples. Babylon destroyed the first one. Greece desecrated the second. Rome destroyed the second. Islam is preventing the third. What is in the holy place now? The Dome of the Rock. That makes four.

preventing most from identifying the beast that is with us today. The pope, Rome, and the Church have always been fair game but not Islam. Somehow political correctness has never been extended to a religion that doesn’t allow abortion, divorce, same sex marriage, and contraception. So what is in the holy place now? Let him understand.

If the king of the north is responsible for it, that would make Mohammed the king of the south and Fatimah his daughter. Muawiyah is the king of the north and his dynasty built the Dome of the Rock. Can this be connected to the beasts of the Apocalypse?

by the Umayyad Caliphate. Daniel is telling us a king is a dynasty. Muawiyah didn’t place the abomination of desolation. It was his dynasty that did it. It was Umayyad Caliph Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan in 691 AD. Daniel seems to suggest that we add 1335 days to that date

in Daniel spoken of by Jesus. Not there but the abomination of desolation is. Three times. Which one is Jesus talking about? What is standing in the holy place? Is it an it or a person? There is little agreement here. Wikipedia has three possibilities to consider: Antiochus IV Epiphanes in 167 BC, Titus in 70 AD, and the Dome of the Rock by the Umayyad Caliph Abd al-Malik ibn Marwan in 691 AD. The last one is with us today. This is the one we need to consider.
