A Priest
a trust problem. You hear a lot about pedophilia but not so much about the homosexual priest. Now mercy and forgiveness is the go to sermon du jour. All of the above is protecting the real problem. Not so much the child. We don’t hear that much about abortion, divorce, and having a father in the home. We do hear about climate change. So much for protecting the child.
A Problem
a deflection or a diversion. How can you blame a cleric who is just doing his job? The Kindle allows you to search words. A Suffering Church
mentions clericalism. In short the priests can’t be any better than the laity. Really? We can’t find men who are holier than the laity? The letter also mentions homosexual. In short a disorder. Not a good place to start when looking for those who are holier. The last three popes have directed that they should not be ordained. The bishops continue to ignore these directives. They are also ignoring the teachings of the Church.
A Crisis In The Church
AKA as clericalism. Something that will just take time to sort out. Time and money. First protect the money. Bankruptcy. Transfer of funds. Secret investments. Money laundering. Next protect the players. Move them around. Silence everyone with whatever it takes. Feed the wolves.
A Problem
but homosexuality in the priesthood is not. It is all a distraction from the real problem. Climate change. You are probably thinking abortion is the real problem. You must be the problem. Why aren’t you listening to the bishops? They need more money.
A Crisis In The Church
that you cannot ignore. The teachings of the Church have not changed. They are just being ignored. It started with contraception, then divorce, abortion, same sex marriage, transgender, etc. Contraception changed the purpose of sex from procreation to just pleasure. That means it doesn’t matter who you do it with. Rules have no reasonable basis. They have to have meaning.
A Break
or at least the benefit of the doubt. Francis wants to fix the problem without throwing the homosexual under the bus. Is it possible without normalizing homosexuality? Are you ready to normalize man/boy relationships? Where to draw the line. Will it be rigid? Love thy neighbour. All law hangs on this. A rigid law? Are we confusing love and sympathy with tolerance and permissiveness?
A Rigid Dogmatic Person
who doesn’t understand that we are all sinners. What is needed now is mercy, forgiveness, and money. Yes we understand that men are taking advantage of younger vulnerable males but the problem is clericalism and it is not as bad as you think it is. All this talk is just making it worse. Time and money is all we need to fix the problem. Trust us.
A Disease
affecting many priests. Most likely they are active homosexuals. They are dying of AIDS at a higher rate than normal. They didn’t get it from the kids. We will never know the real numbers but the bishops will not deny that a significant number of priests and bishops are dying of AIDS. We can’t ignore this. The Church has been corrupted by those who don’t see any problem with homosexuality.
A Fact
that most predators are married men. Most victims are girls. Most victims of the priest scandal are male. Most priests are homosexual. It is more difficult for a homosexual to be celibate. The primary problem is not pedophilia or celibacy. The primary problem is homosexual priests. The popes knew this. The bishops ignored the directives to no longer ordain them.
