A question not addressed. Why does John introduce himself three times? He was asked to “prophesy again”. That could be another John. That’s two. Why not three? Multiple writers have been suggested by multiple commentaries. Both John the Baptist and John Chrysostom have been suggested.
A Patriarch In Exile
A great saint run out of town. Chrysostom appealed to the pope. This would lead to the Great Schism. While John was in Ephesus replacing seven corrupt bishops, those in power at Constantinople were conspiring against him. They had to get rid of him. They were the other bishops.
A Writer Of The Apocalypse
A constellation of stars is revealing. “Revelation in Thunder and Storm” by Morozov, an astronomer, has Chrysostom writing the Apocalypse in 395. He did run into a thunderstorm on his way to Ephesus in 401. Chrysostom, your brother, could be the third John of the Apocalypse.

A Bare Record
A connection. A bare record ties John the Baptist to John the Apostle and the Lamb of God. Just the word “lamb” ties John the Baptist to the Apocalypse. Only John the Apostle knew John the Baptist knew the Lamb of God. The original Apocalypse was about the first coming, which must shortly come to pass, to prepare the way.

The internet has made this possible. Behold, he cometh with clouds. Behold the internet cloud. Watch the cloud and use it. The end is near.
