A Necessary Ingredient 

that can’t be avoided.  It can be minimized according to Jordan Peterson only if the individual can break free of collectivism.  Your first obligation is to yourself.  If you can’t take care of you, you will be used by them and they will bring you down to where you won’t be able to recognize yourself.  Feminism is a great example.  The system is rigged by patriarchy. You don’t have a chance until you elect more Democrats.  So instead of working as an individual to improve your situation, you must dedicate yourself to collectivism against the men who are in your way. Don’t buy into that kind of stuff.  Take care of yourself and only then can you take care of your family which is your second obligation.

A Racist 

if you don’t agree with them.  Identity politics demands it.  The group must identify the enemy.  Hang with the group and the individual suffers.  You have no time for yourself.  The group needs you.  Your family must suffer.  Don’t let them make that choice for you.  Time to be responsible.

climate change

A Scam 

but you prove you care simply by buying into it.  You know nothing about it and can do nothing about it except reduce your consumption of resources.  What is way more important is taking care of your problems.  What is preventing you from being a better person?  That is where you start.  You might be able to take care of your family. That alone can give you a sense of satisfaction which might lead to happiness.  There are no shortcuts.

A Problem 

for liberals who promote identity politics.  If you are a woman, a black, or a LGBT, they have a group for you. The problem is someone comes along and points out that you are an individual who can address your own problems.  You don’t have to let a group hold you back.  You can assume responsibility for your life.  You can improve it.  All it takes is a few rules.  Common sense rules.  Invest in the future. What you do now will pay off later.

A Fool’s Game 

that distracts you from what is really important.  It puts you in a group that is suffering.  The suffering will continue until an organization makes it all better.  That organization needs your money, your campaigning, and your vote.  Your religion could be a problem.  Its emphasis on life, marriage, and family somehow restricts the quality of life for those who don’t share its beliefs.  The teachings of the Church are making some uncomfortable.  They need approval.

an individualist is

A Free Person 

who thinks about the issues and is able to prioritize.  You come first.  Your family second.  If you don’t take care of yourself, you can’t take care of your family.  Set yourself free from all the groups you identify with.  You can’t help them and they can only distract you from what is really important to you.  You can’t save the world but you can make a difference in your part of it.

A Collectivist 

is a decision each of us will make according to Jordan Peterson.  It will determine the course of your life.  “Put Your Oxygen Mask on First” is what you hear on the airplane.  You have to take care of yourself before you can help others.  It is way too easy to focus on something you have no control over.  Something like climate change.  Something you know nothing about.  Get with those who are talking about it and be a collectivist.  You are now a victim.

if you want to be happy.  A woman or a black who identifies primarily with their respective  group will never be satisfied.  Only those who can identify as an individual have a chance to make something of their lives.  You can’t control your group but you can improve yourself which is necessary to better your situation.  Get started on yourself.  It’s your only chance.

A Groupie 

that follows the crowd?  Are you concerned about climate change?  How did you learn about this?  Chances are someone you trust told you about it.  Someone who belongs to a group.  Group pressure for the most part will determine your views on a particular issue.  Only the enlightened person will resist being formed by the group they identify with.  Only the enlightened person has a chance at being an individual who is control of what they believe.

you face the world.  This is the heart of the matter for Jordan Peterson.  It will determine your ability to deal with the world and also your ability to be happy.  If you primarily identify with a group, your chances are not good. You have no control over a group.  Your only chance is to try to control yourself.  This is where you begin.
