A Measure Of The Temple
A witness and a testimony. It is the job of the laity to measure the Church and state. And to do something about it. Praying is not enough. Voting is not enough. Testify. Speak the truth. Defend the teachings of the Church. Defend life, marriage, and the family. It’s your job.
A Great Empire
A reign with Christ. The Byzantine Empire lasted a thousand years. The Holy Roman Empire is the other witness where the Church and state worked together. The two olive trees are the two states being led by the candlestick which represents the light of the Church. The laity must restore the light.
A Witness Times Two
A candlestick and olive tree. Two olive trees lead us to Zerubbabel who is always associated with Joshua and found in Zechariah. A governor and high priest working together to rebuild the temple. The Church should be leading the state but today it is the other way around. Only the laity can restore the Church.
A Suggestion By Francis
A pope that needs help making a mess. The job of the laity is to clean it up. Somehow the spirit of Vatican 2 suggests this. Marian apparitions predict this. So what can the laity do besides pray? Stay and defend the teachings of the Church. The truth must be repeated as often as the lie.
A Cardinal In Jail
A pope resigning. Vigano, Pell, and Benedict. What happened to them? Call it clericalism. It’s that bad. Lest you forget. What can you do besides pray? Good question for the laity. We are being asked to “open wider the doors of the Church” and look the other way while the bishops move priests and money around.
A Marriage
A family can make a difference. So can a pope. The John Paul II Institute No Longer Reflects the Aims of Its Namesake. What could be more important than Life, Marriage, and Family? Social justice or saving the Church and Her teachings? Only the laity can decide this. We can’t rely on the bishops. It’s the spirit of Vatican 2.
A forced resignation. Pope Benedict XVI initiated investigations into the problems with homosexuality and money. Vatican documents were leaked and the pope was forced to resign. Is Francis now in control? Was Benedict in control? The laity is now in control. Save the Church.
A Church And State
A restoration starts with the Church which must guide the state. Just follow the money and sex. A job for the laity. The Church and Her teachings are threatened by something called “clericalism” which sounds a lot better than “money and sex”. Only the laity can make it better.
A Church
A witness times two. The candlestick is the light that guides the olive tree. The Church and state must work together as they did with the Holy Roman Empire and the Byzantine Empire. Both have been corrupted. Only the laity can guide them back to the Truth.
A Nice Start
A spirit of Vatican 2. The reformation continues with the laity to “open wider the doors of the church”. Or did you mean “open wide the doors of the church”? Did you mean to make it easier to be Catholic? Rules make it so hard to be good. Maybe just saying Lord, Lord will work.
