A fisher of men. The laity are called to be His disciples. Fish or cut bait. Don’t waste your talent. You are being called to do what you can and you are what you do. Talk is cheap. Reach out as far as you can. Across the street or around the world. The Light shines in the darkness. Reflect It.
A Spirit Of Vatican 2
A duty of the laity. The teachings of the Church are not being changed. They are being ignored. Life, Marriage, and Family are being ignored. Mercy and the Eucharist are being promoted but that is not sufficient. Culture trends must be resisted. Social justice is replacing religion just as Marx would have it.
A Revelation For All Nations
A job for the laity. “They will open wider the doors of the Church” according to Lumen Gentium 36. Is this the “spirit of Vatican 2”? “Open wider the doors” so they can get out faster? It’s working. “Go, you are dismissed.” The bishops are busy moving money and priests so it is our job to “witness unto all nations”.
A Bible
A right to protection. Cling to your bible and gun. The teachings of the Church protect not only life, marriage, and family but also freedom. Sounds like the “opium of the people” that Marx talked about. The Church is protecting you from communism. Who is protecting the Church? The laity and the spirit of Vatican 2. Your job.
A Spirit Of Vatican 2
A duty of the laity to see that the good news “reaches all people in every age and in every land” according to Canon 212. The laity will “open wider the doors of the Church” according to Lumen Gentium 36 of Vatican 2. A new crusade, a duty, an obligation for all Catholics.
A Revelation
A preparation for what is to come. John the Baptist prepared the way for the first coming. Who is preparing for the second coming? The Laity. Vatican 2 gives us the authority in Lumen Gentium 36. This is the “spirit of Vatican 2” that we can use to reach all nations.
A Church And State
A watch for signs. “Blessed is he that watcheth.” Watch for values like life, marriage, and family. Protect the child. A father in the home is a good start. The teachings of the Church protect the child. Are they being taught? The laity is now incharge of this. Vatican 2 gave us the authority.
A Crusade
A spirit of Vatican 2. If we were given the authority to “open wider the doors of the Church”, we can also do what is necessary to protect the teachings of the Church and that may include closing the door to those who have hijacked the spirit of Vatican 2. We have the internet and the ability to “witness unto all nations”. It’s our job now. Let’s do it

A door left open. Who is minding the store? They made a few changes. The most significant change is still a secret. The laity is in charge of the world. Does that include the Church? Yes. The laity “will open wider the doors of the Church”. What happened to the narrow gate? Let’s close the door and clean house. We are in charge.
A Laity On The Internet
A Vatican 2 proposal. Barron created a firestorm when he said, “not my job”. It was based on Vatican 2. It is the job of the laity to protect not the statue of Padre Serra but to protect the teachings of the Church. Vatican 2 gave us the authority to replace our pathetic bishops and evangelize.
