a crying voice

A First Coming

A kingdom at hand.  The time was near.  John the Baptist knew the Lamb, a word used 27 times in the Apocalypse.  He wrote the first one.  Later John the apostle added Jesus and the seven churches.  He knew about the followers of John the Baptist in Ephesus.  There must be a third John.

a bare record

A Connection to John the Baptist

A Lamb of God.  A “bare record” clearly points to John the Baptist.  So does the word “lamb”.  This also explains why the time is at hand.  He was preparing the way for the first coming.  John the apostle knew all this when he added the seven churches and Jesus to his version of the Apocalypse.

a writer

A John

A canon that only considers apostles.  So why did they think John wasn’t the apostle?  The apostle wouldn’t use his name five times.  He wouldn’t say lamb more times then Jesus.  The Baptist would since he didn’t know Jesus was the Lamb.  The apostle knew who “bare record”  and Jesus.

a last supper

A Marriage Supper Of The Lamb

A supper you don’t want to miss.  It is all about the Lamb.  The Apocalypse.  John the Baptist knew the Lamb but he didn’t know it was Jesus.  That is why you see the word “lamb” 27 times and the name “Jesus” only 12 times.  John the Apostle knew this and added “Jesus” and the seven churches.  Your brother, and companion in tribulation was the third John.  Really.

a diverse beast

A Common Trait

A distinctive difference.  “Ten horns” connects the beasts of John and Daniel.  John has it, not he, with “two horns like a lamb”.  This beast is a religion.  All four beasts of Daniel had something to do with the temple.  Babylon, Greece, Rome, and Islam.  Daniel has the clues to identify the beasts of John.

a bare record

A Servant of God

A “lamb” and the “bare record” ties John the Baptist to the Apocalypse.  Vischer holds the Apocalypse to have been originally a purely Jewish composition.  It would not have included the seven churches that Eusebius and Victorinus failed to recognize.  A reasonable explanation why they didn’t.

a lamb

A Lamb of God

A voice crying is the wilderness.  The word “lamb” is mentioned 27 times in the Apocalypse.  John the Baptist knew the “Lamb of God”.  He was preparing the way for “the time is at hand”.  John the Baptist did not know Jesus was the Lamb of God.  John the Apostle knew that and was also aware of his following.

a sixth seal

A Wrath Of The Lamb

A great day of his wrath is come.  John the Baptist was watching for the Lamb of God.  We need to watch for His wrath.  A great day?  Should we be worrying about the wrath of the lamb while we are being asked to worry about climate change?

a first gospel

A Good News Testimony

A Lamb of God to loose the seals.  The word “lamb” is found 27 times in the Apocalypse first written by John the Baptist.  It should be the first book of the New Testament and not the last for the time was at hand for the first coming.

a testimony

A Revelation

A purely Jewish composition if you take away the churches and the name of Jesus, which is mentioned only 12 times.  Lamb is mentioned 27 times.  John the Baptist knew the Lamb of God.  John the Apostle knew that.  He also knew Jesus and the churches.  He also knew about the followers of the Baptist in Ephesus.
