It is a mystery and likely to remain so. It is Constantinople. No other city fits like this great city. You can’t go back to Constantinople. It can be found no more at all.

A capital of a Christian empire that lasted a thousand years. Constantinople alone has all the characteristics: many waters 17:1, mystery 17:5, seven hills 17:9, trade 18:11, it has fallen, fallen 18:2, and it can be found no more at all 18:21. Does it have seven heads and ten horns? We shall see.

A Hidden Knowledge
A prophecy no longer sealed. In the end knowledge shall be increased per Daniel. John was told to Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book. The time is near. There will be signs. Watch for them. Endure and overcometh. This is a test. A word not found in some bibles. Some will not understand. Those with insight shall.

A time when they reigned with Christ. The Byzantine Empire was the only Christian empire to last a thousand years. Its capital, Constantinople, has all the characteristics of Babylon the Great. No other city has them and can be found no more at all. It is a mystery and likely to remain so.

A number of boxes to check. Ten horns, seven heads, two beasts, a bottomless pit, etc. They can all be connected. Daniel can help us identify the beasts. Chapter 17 has many waters and seven hills, Chapter 18 has many merchants and a great city that has fallen and can be found no more at all.
