A Talking Head On TV –
A statement that the pope was a whore. At the time that was John Paul the Great. The last book of the Bible was referenced, chapter and verse. It was then I decided to read the Apocalypse a second time. This started over 20 years of research to find the real whore.

A holy man. John Paul the Great. Just seeing him, before I heard or read anything about him, I knew he would make a positive change in my life. We were lucky to have him.

A place for letters to and from Jerome. Not only were his letters preserved but also his Vulgate and the Apocalypse. Was he more important than the pope? Letters from Pope Damasus who asked him to translate the bible, from Augustine who didn’t want another bible, and from Theophilus who was responsible for the exile of Chrysostom, all suggest he was.

We are being asked to “open wider the doors of the Church” and look the other way while the bishops move priests and money around.

A collusion of Church and state. Pope Benedict XVI and Cardinal Pell along with Bishop Vigano are examples of what happens to good powerful men when they try to fix the problem. Every Catholic should be informed of this. So what can the average layman do about it? Pray?

It started with contraception, then divorce, abortion, same sex marriage, transgender, etc. Contraception changed the purpose of sex from procreation to just pleasure. That means it doesn’t matter who you do it with. Rules have no reasonable basis. They have to have meaning.

This alone makes one question his commitment to marriage and family. When you combine this with his commitment to climate change and immigration, there can be no doubt that Francis is making a significant change in what the Church seems to be teaching.
