A difficult passage. Let him be filthy still and let him be unjust still. Does that mean we shouldn’t try to do something about it? Just overcometh it? We must work on in despair. He knows our works and we will be judged accordingly. We can’t just pray. We can’t be silent about it. Do something about it.

A Moderation
A render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s. Quote by Oscar Wilde: “Everything in moderation, including moderation.” Man shall not live by bread alone. Politics and religion. Neither can be ignored. Moderation with politics is necessary. Moderation with religion is not sufficient. Saying “Lord, Lord” is not sufficient.
A Thankyou
A gratitude for life. An appreciation of a chance to be. To experience life with some control over it. To learn. To make a difference. To be a part of the whole. To be or not to be is not an issue. Don’t bury your talent. Be not afraid. Use your talent and it will increase. Your reward will be great.
A Time to Listen
A time to speak. A time to make a difference. A time for accountability. A time to ignore the reality of what is going on around us. A time for prayer. A time to ask for guidance. A time for serenity. A moderation. A balance. A choice. You are what you eat. You are what you listen to. You are what you watch. You are what you do.
A White Horse For Freedom
A Red Horse for one religion. A Black Horse with no religion. A Pale Horse with death and destruction for all. Refugees everywhere and all you can do is pray. Christians, Muslims, and Communists can’t agree on freedom. All have to deal with death and the consequences of decisions made. So what are you doing about climate change? Praying?
A Distribution Problem
A capitalist solution is to increase profits by making more bread. A marxist solution is to increase power by controlling who gets what. A baker’s solution is a gun to protect his bread. A christian solution is to pray and share. Good luck with that.
A Crisis in the Church
A reason to pray. Pray? Heal thyself. According to Canon 212 the laity has the “duty to manifest to the sacred pastors their opinion on matters which pertain to the good of the Church”. Don’t leave the Church. Don’t just pray. Stay and fight for what you believe to be right. It is your duty.

A Crisis in the Church
a problem with homosexuality. Call it clericalism. Call it predatory priests. The solution is mercy, forgiveness, and prayer. Mercy and forgiveness. I get that but we talkin bout prayer, man. apocalypse
