a prophecy

A Sealed Revelation

A key to understanding.  Only He can open the book and break the seven seals.  Only history can verify the fulfillment of prophecy and only numbers and colors can connect them.  Start with a big number like a thousand years and see if it fits with the smaller ones.  Interpreting what has been translated is not reliable.

A Connection With Daniel

A common beast with “ten horns”.  John knows Daniel and Daniel knows beasts.  What makes a beast a beast?  The Temple.  Don’t mess with the Temple.  Babylon destroyed the first Temple.  Greece desecrated the second that was destroyed by Rome.  Islam is preventing the third with the Dome of the Rock.

A Beast That Is To Come

A beginning and an end to a thousand year empire.  The Byzantine Empire.  It started with the Roman Empire that had seven dynasties and ended with the Ottoman Empire that had ten dynasties.  A good fit but this requires an understanding of what makes a beast a beast and only Daniel can help us with this problem.

A Babylon The Great

A capital of a Christian empire that lasted a thousand years.  Constantinople alone has all the characteristics:  many waters 17:1, mystery 17:5, seven hills 17:9, trade 18:11, it has fallen, fallen 18:2, and it can be found no more at all 18:21.  Does it have seven heads and ten horns?  We shall see.

A Necessary Key

A Revelation.  An Apocalypse.  Pick a number.  A big number like a thousand or 666 and see where it leads you.  Does it fit with the smaller numbers like ten, seven, five, four, or two?  Both prophecy and history use numbers making it possible to connect them reliably.  History is the only place to confirm the fulfillment of prophecy.
