the laity

A Prophecy

being fulfilled. Some are leaving the Church.  Others are fighting for the Church they love.  The bishops have been corrupted.  Leaders in the laity are exposing them.  Listen to and support these leaders.  Speak out.  This is no time to be silent.  Let your pastor know that you cannot, will not, support the bishops.  Stay with the Church and fight for it.

three johns

A Strange Introduction

that doesn’t get enough attention.  Combine this with John being told to “prophesy again” after eating the little book. Is there a record of him prophesying again? Yes but the record of John prophesying the first time is missing except for a few clues.  The dog that didn’t bark.  Eusebius and Victorinus did not mention Antipas or the seven churches.  Were they looking at the first Apocalypse written by John the Baptist?

“reign of Christ”

A Man Made Phrase

you won’t find in the bible but if you google it, you will find over 6 million hits.  In the bible you will find (0 Bible results for “”reign of Christ”.”)  Just another misinterpretation of the bible that will prevent you from understanding what has been prophesied.  The bible is not misleading but there are those who can mislead you about what the bible is saying.  Beware.

all the pieces

A Summary

of it all in one place if you have the time and interest.  You may wonder why no one else has done this.  Maybe their pieces don’t fit.  Maybe they don’t have all the pieces.  Maybe they don’t use history.  It is really the only advantage we have over those who came before us.  Use it.

Apocalypse

A Puzzle

with many pieces. To see the big picture, you need many pieces to fit each other.  The pieces of your interpretation will always fit into the future.  History is not so flexible.  History will always limit your choices but it can actually help you with your interpretation.  Use it.

I ate

A Book

that directed John to prophesy again.  The time was near not for the second coming but for the first coming.  Today the time is near for the second one.  What was prophesied should be clear now and only history can verify that but you can’t rely on your interpretation.  You can only rely on numbers and maybe colors that don’t need interpretation.  So let us start with numbers and historical events that might fit what appears to be prophesied. Is there a thousand years where they reigned with Christ?

Jerome

A Critic

of the commentary by Victorinus and took it upon himself to modify it.  What did he change and why did he change it??  His wealthy friend Paula and his travels resulted in an impressive collection of books for Jerome.  His letters show that he was a very important man at the beginning of the 5th century. It was a time when the bible was being defined.

Victorinus

A Commentary

on the Apocalypse from the 3rd century that does not include Antipas or the seven churches.  Since Eusebius and Victorinus both have the same problem, they must have been looking at a copy of the Apocalypse that did not include them.  John the Baptist knows the Lamb, a word found 27 times in the Apocalypse but he did not know Antipas or the seven churches.  Just the seven spirits mentioned by Victorinus.
