A Solution
to the problems we face. Protect the child. A teaching of the Church now ignored by the bishops. Instead the bishops are working with the government that protects abortion, divorce, and LGBT. Don’t worry about the family. Worry about climate change. Just like the bishops.
A War
where mostly men die. So be it. Save the women and children. Let the men go back to work. Let the mothers stay home with the kids. This worked in the past. It will work again. Be not afraid. Be careful. Be kind. Be reasonable.
A Time
for old guys to take one for the team. Us old guys have the highest rate of death from coronavirus. We can stay in our room and drink beer. All the others should go back to work and let the chips fall where they may. Do it for the kids. Be not afraid. Be careful. Be kind. Be reasonable.
A Purpose
a reason why something is necessary. The child understands this. It is why the child asks why. Reason, meaning, and purpose can explain why we are here. You need to consider why. Don’t you wonder why? You should.
A Child
a man and a woman become one flesh. Let not man put asunder. A trinity in the form of a family. The purpose of marriage is to protect the child. The child is the future. Protect the environment of the child. Life, marriage, and family.
A Trinity
that includes a child, a mother, and a father. We are all part of a trinity made in Their Image. We have been given dominion over all the earth. Those who talk climate change would like to turn that around. We have been told to be fruitful, and multiply. Those who talk climate change would like to change that. Francis and the bishops are talking climate change.
A Top Priority
that cannot be equated with other issues. Protection of the child first starts with protection of life, then marriage, and finally family. The meaning or purpose of life, marriage, and family has been lost to make others comfortable with their lifestyle. Mercy and forgiveness does not necessitate ignoring the Truth. Love of neighbor does not trump Truth.
A Priority
that needs the protection of life, marriage, and family. This is the environment that will protect the child. Let the children come. It starts in the womb. A mother and a father is the best environment. This is the environment you should be worried about. The bishops must know this. They should.
A Term
that suggests something is wrong and requires attention. Someone questioning this is more likely to question other norms. Once you lose your objectivity, most everything else becomes subjective. Trustworthiness is lost. A perceived injustice often justifies the violation of other norms. The child and money are no longer safe. Changing a term like objective disorder will not make them safe.
A Rabbit Hole
Cardinal Cupich is willing to go down. So is Francis. The pope and our bishops are willing to work with those who support abortion and climate change provides the cover. It proves you care for what is really important if not the unborn baby. If you don’t care about climate change, you are probably a racist. If you can ignore abortion, you might be able to ignore child abuse. The bishops can.
