A Necessary Ingredient
A suffering that somehow brings out the best and the worst. One way or another we react to suffering whether it be ours or others. The cross is a reminder of who suffered and why. Why suffer when you can take a pill or just change the channel? You can ignore it until it happens to you. Then you have to look for solutions, reasons, and meaning. If you have the time.

A necessary explanation for what we experience. We have to make sense of it. To ignore it is to deny reality. To deny objectivity. Call it speculation, conjecture, or whatever but please accept the fact that there must be a reason, a purpose, a meaning, etc.

A Reason Why
A question not often addressed. What is the purpose of prophecy? Why was the Apocalypse written? To prepare the way for the first coming. A time that was near. “Make straight” the way of the Lord sayeth the voice crying out in the wilderness.
A Place For Reason And Logic
A source of knowledge. Watch and listen. It’s hard to find those who are well informed, passionate, and articulate. You may not agree with them but you should be aware of what they are saying. A Reason Or Cause
A first principle. Ask why the Apocalypse was written. You are free to speculate if you don’t get a reasonable answer. Your speculation should be consistent with what is known or settled. Ask for guidance, look in the bible for clues, and don’t ignore history. The future is for prophets only.
A Third John
A place called Patmos. This is all we know. Everything else is speculation or interpretation. Is yours better than the others? Is your bible better than the others? Do they have anything in common? Numbers. Somehow they get the numbers right. We also have logic and reason to make sense of them.
A Test Of Faith
A reason to believe. Liberty or death. That is the question. Life without liberty is not a good deal but comfort is all important except for those who believe there is something better waiting for them. We are being tested. The opium of the masses is promising but many have found an idol and will give up their freedom for it.
A Time To Start A New Life
A clean room. Clean your room. You have control over your room. That’s about it. You also have control over how you treat the next person you come in contact with. Start there. You also have control over what you watch, listen to, and read. Watch what goes into your mouth but more importantly what comes out of it.
A Reason to Live
A meaning for life. A test of wills. Don’t bury your talent. Learn what you can. Teach what you can. You will need help. Ask for it. Seek the truth. You will find it. Knock and it will be open unto you. The Truth will not only set you free, It will make you happy. It will help you pass the final test. We are being tested. You may not find that word in your bible.
