A book I read again after the movie came out. The first time I ever laughed out loud. A great movie and a great book. There were many other forgettable ones. Many that I remembered not finishing.

A day to remember our ancestry. Those who have gone before us.

A Math Lesson –
A store in the classroom. It was just a counter with shelves that a few fathers built with 2×4’s on a Saturday morning. Everyone in all eight grades was asked to bring in a can of food. Using real money, each student would buy and sell two or three cans and make change. At the end of the year the cans were donated to a charity.
A Reunion –
A time to get together. We now have Zoom reunions. We are so far apart in every way. We have to be careful of what we talk about. The family ties are stronger than the differences we have created. We have to remember what we have in common.
A Family Search –
A source for those who came before us. FamilySearch was started by the Mormons to find their ancestors. They believed it was the only way to save them. An interesting concept. “To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die” is a quote from Thomas Campbell. Something to think about. “This do in remembrance of me.”
A Necessary Ingredient
A Last Supper. Do this in remembrance of me. Sounds like an important command. How do we remember Jesus? Sunday is the traditional day to do it. The Lord’s day. It is the least we can do. If we can’t do that, what can we do? Work on social justice. It’s the marxist way.
A Good Friday
A day to remember. “Do this in remembrance of me”. The greatest story ever told. It is still being told in Russia and China even though it is opium of the people according to Marx the rider of the black horse and the father of Communism. We should remember that McCarrick made a deal with China as the story goes. Not the greatest story. The Lord works in mysterious ways.
