A Persecution of the Church
A time of great suffering. A time to listen to what the spirit is saying to the churches. If you overcometh, you will not be hurt by the second death. The death of the soul. You need not worry about what can kill the body. This is a test and suffering is a big part of it. And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.

A number to connect them. Numbers can be trusted. Your interpretation, not so much. There are way too many different translations of the bible but they all seem to agree on the numbers. Only history can confirm the fulfillment of prophecy and only numbers can reliably connect history to prophecy.

A fallen city that can be found no more at all. Constantinople. A mystery and likely to remain so. No other city has all the characteristics: many waters, merchants, is fallen, mystery, and can be found no more at all. The capital of a Christian empire that lasted a thousand years. A peace taken from the earth. A beast diverse from all the beasts that were before it. A continuous jihad. Islam is winning. Just look at the numbers. They live by the sword and only a greater sword will stop them. Might is right. Cling to your bible and gun.

A common beast with Daniel and John. The “ten horns” ties them together. Sebeos may have been the first to recognize Islam as the fourth beast of Daniel. Much later the ten dynasties of Islam would be identified by Islamic historians. The Ottoman Empire, the tenth dynasty of Islam ended a thousand year Christian empire. The Byzantine Empire. –

A lion, a bear, a leopard, a fourth beast. John’s beast is also like Daniel’s. The “ten horns” also ties them together. What makes a beast a beast? The Temple. Babylon destroyed the first one. Greece desecrated the second. Rome destroyed the second. Islam is preventing the third. The Abomination of desolation prevents the daily sacrifice.

A number ten connecting prophecy with history. The tenth dynasty of Islam ended a thousand year reign of Christians. Fall of Constantinople. Not proof. Just another piece of the puzzle that fits. Need more numbers like the “seven heads” and the seven dynasties of the Roman Empire to support this hypothesis.

A fit with Revelation 15:2. Greek fire was used to defeat the Islamic attackers and the Sea of Marmara was like a sheet of glass. The year was 666 based on Gibbon’s 46 years. Put 46 in an Islamic calendar converter and you get 666. It’s a calculation. How do you count a number?
