A connection with Daniel. The ten horns tie the fourth beast of Daniel to the second beast of the Apocalypse. The horns are dynasties and they are named by Islam. They can be connected by two big numbers. A thousand years and the year 666. The seven heads can also be connected with the seven dynasties of Rome.

A proven teaching technique. Victorinus employs Recapitulation to understand the Apocalypse. Visions of the Apocalypse are repeated and are not necessarily in chronological order. Do not assume the chapters of the Apocalypse are in chronological order. It can lead to significant misinterpretation.
