A reference to the millennium. The word “kingdom” cannot be found in Chapter 20 . It is not the “reign of Christ”. They “reigned with Christ”. A thousand years has a beginning and an end. The Kingdom of God will not end. Way too many think the thousand years will begin with the Second Coming. They need to check history.

John the Baptist was preparing the way for the Lamb of God. The word “lamb” can be found 27 times in the Apocalypse. Think about that. It is about the Lamb.

A First Version of the Apocalypse
A conjecture that it was written by John the Baptist was first suggested by Josephine Massyngbaerde Ford. She is not the first to suggest multiple authors of the Apocalypse. Peter Vischer did suggest it was “originally a purely Jewish composition”. It has also been suggested that it was originally written in Hebrew.

Only John the Apostle knew John the Baptist knew the Lamb of God. The original Apocalypse was about the first coming, which must shortly come to pass, to prepare the way.

A time to repent. You may not have that much time to do what you need to do. How long? The numbers are not yet fulfilled but the signs are all there. Blessed is he that watcheth. It is time to reflect on what is going on. Take the time to look for meaning and purpose. Your eternal life depends on it.
