a Church History that includes six of the seven churches that John wrote to but Eusebius never associates them with the Apocalypse. Victorinus doesn’t even mention them. Is it possible there is a version of the Apocalypse that doesn’t include the seven churches? It could be a reasonable explanation for what we are looking at.

a view of what was. We don’t know what the Apocalypse looked like in the third century. Victorinus knew and we know what his commentary looked like. It didn’t include the seven churches John wrote to. It did include the seven churches Paul wrote to. There is a reasonable explanation for this.

a star and a light for the world. A Guide. The seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches. Those churches no longer exist. Christianity no longer exists there. Replaced with Islam. The churches in Europe are also being replaced and Muslims are rapidly taking over.

a revelation without the churches. An Apocalypse written by John the Baptist would not have the seven churches. A careful reading of Eusebius and Victorinus is consistent with this. The Baptist would use the word lamb about 27 times in his Apocalypse. John the Baptist was preparing the way for the Lamb.

A Jewish Original
according to the German scholar Vischer. The original was Hebrew and later translated into Greek by John the Apostle who added the churches, Antipas, and Jesus. The original must have been written by John the Baptist who knew the Lamb of God.

A Missing Martyr
with Eusebius and Victorinus. Antipas can not be found in the Church History of Eusebius or in the Commentary of Victorinus. The missing stuff is adding up. Can it be explained? Has any one tried to? There is reasonable explanation. They were both looking at copy of the Apocalypse that didn’t have Antipas, the churches, or Jesus. They just had the Lamb.

with the Victorinus commentary on the Apocalypse. The seven churches Victorinus mentions in his commentary on the Apocalypse are the ones Paul wrote to. The letters are to seven spirits not seven churches. Eusebius mentions six of the seven churches but never associates them with the Apocalypse. Could it be their copy of John’s Apocalypse did not mention them?

as to what they didn’t know. What the Fathers of the Church wrote has been thoroughly studied but what they left out has not. Victorinus in his Commentary on the Apocalypse fails to mention the seven churches. He does mention the seven churches that Paul wrote to. This by itself should concern no one but when combined with other similar omissions, it demands your attention.
A Clue
that there is more than one writer of the Apocalypse. John is told to eat the little book and then is told he must prophesy again. It could be John the Apostle eating the little book written by John the Baptist. The Apostle would add Jesus, Antipas, and the seven churches.
